Wow, it is so warm! But people have forgotten about bicyclists and so it is scary to go grocery shopping, even in the bright sunny middle of the day! People were real jerks both yesterday morning and this morning on my shopping trips. And we stopped at Lowe's today to look for weatherproofing materials, and when we came back outside my cable lock was at different numbers (like someone had tried to open it), and my brake pulls were all messed up (like someone had smashed them). They were fixable on the spot, but it bummed me out.
In other developments:
-Saw the new Coen brothers movie last night, at a real live movie theater. I enjoyed it.
-Made some tasty focaccia last night.
-Finally hung a few more pictures in the living room, and along the stairs.
-Matt is learning how to whittle, in preparation for being unemployed. But actually, since his job ended he has been working more than ever (on my old strawberry farm!) and had an interview last week, so maybe he will continue to be a crappy whittler. Sometime I'll try to post a picture of the fish he made.
